Did you have a Solatube System installed in your home in 2015? If so, you may be entitled to more than the free, natural daylight the system delivers.
The federal government just reinstated the 10% Tax Credit for qualifying Energy Star windows, doors, and skylights. And guess what? Most Solatube residential daylighting products are eligible.
How much can I get back? Up to $200!
As long as the Solatube products were installed in your principal residence, you may qualify for a tax credit up to $200! The tax credit is based on 10% of the actual Solatube product costs, excluding installation.
How do I file?
Complete Form 5695 and submit it with your income taxes to receive your tax credit. Already filed? You can refile with the form for an adjustment.
